I am asking each student's family to contribute a $30 donation for class supplies this year. This will ensure materials are uniform across the classroom and allow me to purchase, label, and organize all needed items before students come back to school. Additional donations for field trips and class parties may be requested as their respective dates approach.
**Please remember that students need to bring the following items on the first day of school:**
Headphones or earbuds – (must be corded) preferably with a microphone embedded & labeled with the student’s name. Parents will be responsible to replace broken or damaged headphones/earbuds throughout the year. We use headphones multiple times throughout the day in the classroom. Please try to find high-quality headphones to last as long as possible.
Water bottle – students may bring a small water bottle that they can have with them throughout the day, I recommend labeling it or writing their name in sharpie on the bottom.
Pencil box - standard size, can be a pencil pouch if wanted. Please keep these basic colors with minimal designs to avoid distraction in the classroom.
Small bag – optional. Something that they can keep a cell phone or lunch in. No backpacks please! (we are a technology school and do not have much to send home each day or space to store them)
Your $30 donation will provide each student with:
- 1 standard size pencil box
- 12 Expo black ink ultra-fine tip dry erase markers
- 1 individual whiteboard/clipboard
- 1 wooden ruler
- 10 pack Crayola fine tip markers
- 10 pack Crayola washable markers
- 24 pack Ticonderoga wooden pencils (sharpened)
- 2 large Paper Mate Pink Pearl erasers
- 2 red ballpoint pens
- 4 highlighters
- 2 wide-ruled composition notebooks
- 150 sheet wide-ruled filler paper
- 4 packs of sticky notes
- 2 plastic folders with inside pockets (plain, solid color only)
- Scissors
- 6 Elmer’s glue sticks
- 2 Mr. Clean magic erasers
- Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer
- Kleenex tissues, paper towels, Band-Aids
- Gallon and sandwich sized zip lock bags
- Additional art, science, and STEM supplies
- Party favors, prizes, and treats for various learning lessons
Please note, these are the only supplies allowed; anything else will be sent home.
Notice: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.
